Fits all valves!
It comes assembled to fit a Schrader(American-car)valve.
To convert it to fit the Presta/Sclaverand(French-Racing) valve and Dunlopvalve simply turn both parts inside the head.
1. Unscrew the aluminium nipple and lift the alu lever.
2. Take out the rubber part and turn it so the small hole is outside
3. Take out the plastic part and turn it so the pin will point inside and
4. Screw the alunipple tight back on.
Using the pump, put the pump head as tight as possible on the valve and then lift the lever so the rubber closes very tight around the valve.
It is important so no air leaks beside the rubber.
Start pumping and note that after a few strokes the pump will push air more when pulled, not pushed.
You will notice that you do not need to work as hard as with other pumps - especially when the pressure gets higher.
Thanks to the technique Pro produces the same volume of air also when the pressure gets higher!
The pump has a built in pressure gauge, this will apare onse you start pumping as it is protected under the outer cylinder. Please note that the pressure indicated cannot be 100% correct. Excpect a deviation on +/- 0,5 bar.
The flexible holder wiil fit frames from 25 up to 40 mm in diameter. To get the maximum flexibility you might have to stretch it by taking the holder in both hands and pull hard. You will feel how it stretches and will stay flexible after this.
When you attach the holder think of stretching it already in the first step and keep it stretched all around the tube for best effect. If you have an overized frame you might try to find a place where it is easier to attach the pump.
To keep your Pro working in the best way try not to get dust or sand into the pump.
If the pump starts going heavier you can lubricate the pistons and also inside the cylinders. To do this you can unscrew the cap in the bottom but be careful so you do not loose the O-ring.
You can use most kinds of oil or grease, but be careful so you do not use to much.
KEEP ON PUMPING!
